The Vermont Farriers Association invites you to an all-day lecture with farrier educator Michael Wildenstein, CJF, FWCF (Hons) on Saturday, March 28 in the Old Chapel at Castleton State College in Castleton, Vermont.
Mike will speak on the subject of "Why Do We Shoe Horses Differently?", addressing the hoofcare needs of different sizes and breeds of horses and the jobs/sports they do with the conformations and health issues they have.
Here's a chance to be indoors and warm, for a change--since it is still pretty wintery in Vermont--and learn from one of the world's foremost educators. The cost for this event is very reasonable.
Castleton is located west of Rutland in central Vermont, near the New York state border. The Old Chapel is at 71 Seminary Street in Castleton.
The fee is $35 if registered in advance or $40 if not. To register, or for more information, call 802 282 5268 or email vermontfarrier@aol.com. There is a Facebook event page and the Vermont Farriers Association has a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/vermont.farriers. There is a registration form on the Facebook page if you want to try to register before Saturday.
