Arizona Equine is an established seven-doctor equine referral center in Gilbert, Arizona. The practice has been providing the highest quality veterinary medicine along with excellent client service to horse owners since 1984.
To better serve the needs of our clients and referring veterinarians, Arizona Equine is establishing the first podiatry center in Arizona. The ideal candidate will have completed certification as a Journeyman Farrier (or equivalent), has the experience and expertise necessary to address a wide range of shoeing challenges, would work well in a collaborative farrier/veterinarian approach to shoeing, and would enjoy the challenge of developing a thriving service currently unavailable in Arizona.
Horses to be shod will be hauled in to the fully equipped climate controlled podiatry center.
Compensation for this full-time position will be commensurate with qualifications and include a base salary with bonus pay based upon production.
